Boys Spring Medal Sunday 20th April 2025

The Spring Medal this year will take our under-18 boys to Carnwath Golf Club, where the demanding layout will thoroughly challenge their early-season skills.

This is an 18-hole stroke play event exclusively for male members under 18 from LGA-affiliated clubs.

Boys Spring Meeting Sunday 18th May 2025

The Boys Spring Meeting has traditionally served as a scratch competition and the season's kickoff for all events under the Lanarkshire Golf Association. However, due to the ongoing growth of our junior golf program, we have now introduced a handicap competition to accommodate all our boys. Once again, the exceptional Wishaw Golf Club will host the event, presenting a formidable yet fair challenge for their golfing skills.

This is an 18-hole stroke play event open to male members under 18 from LGA-affiliated clubs.

Seniors County Championships Monday 9th June 2025

Our most well-attended championships this year will be hosted at Carluke Golf Club, where our over-50's participants will compete for the title of LGA Seniors County Champions.

Entry is limited to LGA club members who are 50 years old or older on the day of the event.

Seniors Team Championship Moday 11th August 2025

**NEW FOR 2025** A new addition to the LGA calendar this year, this event will be hosted at Carnwath Golf Club for the first time. The challenging terrain of this exceptional layout will push senior players to their limits. This competition will feature a two-ball better ball Stableford format, and seniors can participate as members of any LGA club.

Gents Handicap Championships Sunday 15th June 2025

This year, Kirkhill Golf Club is thrilled to host our Gents Handicap Open Championships. This event is an individual handicap championship.

Gents & Youths County Championships Sunday 27th July 2025

The highlight of our annual calendar, the Gents County Strokeplay, is set to take place at East Kilbride Golf Club. This event will undoubtedly challenge the skills of our top players. The course is always in superb condition, providing a fantastic conclusion to our players' season.

Additionally, this year, our Youth Championships will be held alongside the men's event, with the top eight gents and top four youths advancing to the Matchplay knockout rounds on the same course later in August.

Boys County Strokeplay Championships Monday 28th July 2025

The Boys' Championships this year will be held at Strathaven Golf Club. Known for its popularity, the golfer who claims the title of county strokeplay champion will need to showcase their finest skills to conquer this challenging course.

This event will feature a 36-hole strokeplay competition, both scratch and handicap, with the top eight players in each category advancing to the Matchplay rounds at the same location.

James Brown Team Championships Sunday 1st June 2025

Cambuslang Golf Club is set to host the 3-man team championships this year. This event has returned to Cambuslang Golf Club, where it was traditionally held annually., with the victorious teams advancing to represent Lanarkshire at the 2026 West of Scotland Championships.
