The Spring Medal will this year take our under 18 boys to Carnwath Golf Club where the challenging terrain of this super layout will test their early season games to the max.

The Boys Spring Meeting was traditionally a scratch competition and the season opener for all Lanarkshire Golf Association events, but with the continued development of our junior golf programme we have added a handicap competition to ensure that all our boys are catered for. Once again, the boys will be welcomed by the magnificent Wishaw Golf Club. which always provides a stern but fair challenge for their golf talents.

Seniors County Championships

Our best attended championships this year’s makes it first visit to Bothwell Castle Golf Club where our over 50’s will do battle to be crowned the LGA Seniors County Champions.
Enter is restricted to LGA club members who have attained the age of 50 years on the day of the event.
This year Hollandbush Golf Club will host our Gents Handicap Open Championships. This year in addition to the individual championship we have introduced a handicap team competition where 4 man teams will compete for the LGA Team handicap team championships. A magnificent course with a welcoming club it's sure to be great day.
Gents & Youths County Championships
The premier event of our calendar, the Gents County Strokeplay will be held at Carnwath Golf Club, and as ever will test the skills our top players or that there is no doubt. Always in excellent order the course will be a fine finally to our player’s season.
Again, this year our Youths Championships will be run in conjunction with the gents’ event with the top 8 gents and top 4 youths progressing to the Matchplay knockout stages over the same course later in the week.
The Boys championships this year will take place at Hamilton Golf. Always a popular venue, the boy who is crowned county strokeplay champions will have had to produce their best golf to overcome this super layout.
36 hole strokeplay scratch and handicap championships with the top 8 in each category progressing to the Matchplay at the same venue.
James Brown Memorial Team Championships
Entries will open on 1st July 2024
The 3 man team championships will be hosted by Shotts Golf Club this year with the winners going forward to represent Lanarkshire at the 2025 West of Scotland Championships
